hello., i cought my attention this past weekend, when i saw juans doors panel-less, he mentioned something about aluminum door panels.,
ive been searching for pics of such pannels but have found nothing the only one was the Driftworks silvia that had them but no pics.
ive seen carbon fiver door panels, and aluminum.

my request is to see some pics of such pannels. because the door is not perfectly Flat so you cant just rivet some sheet metal on there. the window crank section sticks out and there are some sections that dip in, so i want to see some pics of such pannels.

there are 2 styles, the one that bends into the glass on top and the one that just covers the center in the middle.

*4 exsample. (not s13). I want to see s13 doors !!!

Get some carbon or metal and get to cutting. Thats custom anyway you look at it. Chassis can make a generic one and then you still have to cut to fit.

if u read he is requesting photos of 240's with such panels, im guessing he wants to make his own

u just quoted and made bold the op's post just for u to say"im guessing"!!

lol

ok,
but u are aware if u do this, u will either have ur windows in the up position perminatly or no windows at all.

i gutted my doors, and cut out the entire panel. all whats let is the outside door skin, and door handle.

all u need is some sheet metal, roll some beads into it for strength. then use cardboard as a templet, trace it on to the metal, then cut out. rivit it in place and ur done

i have on order lexan windows that will be in the permanit position.
just to give u a heads up

used to hold lexan window-

yeah but i was trying to find a 240 that still had working windows. ( uncut door) with a panel, like that, i guess the only way is to cut the door and get rid of the window....

and yeah im asking because i wanted to make some. not just for me but maybe to sell or sum. but is a lil more complicated than i tough.

i guess im gona wait see what juan gets on his car....

Running panels like that is stupid if your keeping the whole inner door, Its made to keep some rigidness but lose weight at the same time.
