hey every one whats up
i was just thinking about some thing i was going to do to my car (sleepy eyes)

i dont wont the ghetto re-wireing junk with the switches mounted under the hood + the head lights might be more open on the left or right

so........ I searched a controller

I found a PIVOT Headlight pop-up controller it workes good and it's mountable in the car and looks good and makes the lights go up at the same time

THIS IS HOW TO DO THE RE-WIREING FOR THE GHETTO WAY

Well, you read the title, so here it is:
Approx install time: 1/2 hour (I took my time)
Materials:
2 Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) switches
Minimum of 6 EACH of Male and Female spade connectors (get a pack of each)
16-18 gauge wire (length varies on where you mount your switches)
NOTE: If you've done the "snip the brown wire for sleepy eyes" mod, you need to reconnect that wire first. This mod enables separate control of motors and lights.

This is the result: SLEEPY EYES

First thing, find this relay box:

Then find this relay:

Unplug it and put it belly up in the open spot a lil to the left so you can see the prongs.
Make 4 wires like the pic below about 6" long. Each wire should have 1 male and 1 female spade connector. Also make 4 wires long enough to route from the relay box to wherever you'd like to control the lights from (I went into the cabin for convenience's sake, through the grommet for the hood release cable). The second set of four wires should consist of 2 wires with male on one end and your choice of connection to a switch on the other end and 2 wires with female on one end and switch connection on the other. I just soldered to the switch contacts.
The first set of 4 should look like this:

Ok, now picture your relay and relay socket as follows:

Now numbered for convenience and lack of headache:

Ok, now follow with me here. This is where it will get confusing if you don't keep up. Connect 1, 3, 4, and 6 with the 4 small wires. Prongs 2 and 5 are the ones that will be switched. Connect a male/switch wire to socket #2, then to a switch, then connect a female/switch wire to the switch, then out to relay prong #2. Basically now you have a long, switched prong 2 to socket 2 wire. Make sense? Good. Do the same for 5.
Here, you can see a socket with five of the six connections in (the open spot was left there on purpose for a better view):

SORRY NO PIC I CANT UPLOADE THEM

And here's the relay side, in its new spot, again with one wire off for emphasis:

Close up the relay box, with your switched wires hanging out (or mounted in the car, or in the relay box)
Now for the fun part, which is confusing at first, but makes total sense once you try it.
Make sure your lights are turned off and the flip-ups are closed.
Turn both your new switches on and observe how when they are on, the lights and flip-ups work just like normal.
Make sure your lights are turned off and the flip-ups are closed again.
Turn both your switches off. Turn your headlights on. Notice that they are lit, but closed. Now, if you flick one of the switches up really quick (for just a split second), your headlights will rachet upwards. Kinda like the brown wire method, but this one controls them on the way up. Flick the switch til you get the desired height. Leave your switches the way they are and turn your headlights on and off. Now only the lights go on and off, but your flip-ups stay still. How cool. If you want to reset to normal, at any time, just flick both switches on.
I.

OK I WONT TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THE PIVOT Headlight pop-up controller AND ALL THAT JUNK DOES ANY ONE KNOW HO TO AND PUT PICS UP I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT
