180sx VLSD into S14??

Anyone have any LEGIT knowledge about this swap?
I know for some J30's you gotta change the backplate and that 180VLSDs bolt right up to an S13 but i've never really seen anything about 180sx VLSDs going into S14s.

So basically, what exactly is required in order to swap a 180 VLSD into an s14?

if its 6 bolt, ill trade you my VLSD. mine came off an S14. the only thing ull need is a new diff gasket cuz i took it off for some unknown reason lol

its just chilling in my shed. its a 6 bolt though
 
all you need is your s14 back plate, the s13 uses a 4 bolt and the s14 uses 2 bolt. That is the only thing needed.
 
u guys forget to mention that the 2 bolts by the drive shaft are longer on a s14 than on a s13 so u will need those bolts off of a s13

unless you can thread them all the way in witch i doubt because the whole bolt is not threaded

this is true.i actually just did all this today...the back plate and the shorter s13 bolts and its done.
 
S14 DIFF COVER
they're 19mm cover bolts
If they're 6bolt output shafts, your straight.
IF they're 5, you'll need axles
