5 Speed Tranny Problem

i have a 5 speed transmission off a 240sx its sitting in the back of my truck and its not going into 3rd 4th 5th or reverse but when i pulled it off the car it was fine anything on why this would do that??
 
no gear oil probably. shouldn't be a problem, mine was having a hard time going in when i was doing my 5 speed swap. then i put it in and added some gear oil and it was fine. however you might have mashed synchros, because if its off the car and doing this then your tranny might be phucked, you might have to get another one. lmk if this helps
 
If it was thrown around or dropped a Fork could have shifted loose. or Some other internal item.
