the neutral safety switch is it that orange wire? where does it connect to where exactly?
its my first swap...... now i cant put the tranny in completly its sticking out like a 1 1/2 inch off the block... is the tranny gasket necessary i dont have it so i left it out?...

just run a wire from the key:run postion directly to the starter engage solenoid, there problem solved

did u remove the at pilot bushing? and put a manual one?

the reverse sensor is the one closer to the engine.

the safety neutral in the s14 is the black and brown jumped together (the only two wires connector out side tha fuse/relay box.

u do not need the manual harness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea i did remove theat pos AT bushing...and i did install MT bushing... but how far does the mt bushing go through the crank shaft. i think thats the problem i didnt put it in all the way i tap it in like a inch into it... is that correct. or do i have to bust the mt bushing all the way into the crank

ok, I finished mine about 3 months ago on the floor in my drive way and I'll tell you by personal experience that mating the trans to the block is the hardest thing EVER even more when your a scrawny 120lb 5'10'' 17yr old that I am. the pilot baring in only about an inch sounds correct but it takes a lot of wrestling to get the trans to mate. Try unbolting the motor mounts and tilting the motor so you can get a better angle. Also try twisting the trans. This is what i did after getting fustrated as hell, once you get close enough, take the long starter bolt and tread it in just any hole and start tighting it to pull the trans to the motor. Just pray that the tranny end is in right and you dont break you clutch. As for the wiring goes just jump the neutral switch and to get your reverse lights take the the switch closest to the the motor on the trans and run wires to the correct spot on the plug which i don't remember but there is an amazing write up on nicoclub.com which has pics just search. Or if your lazy like me you can just plug back in your auto trans position switch and leave it in park so the car thinks it's always in park you just wont have reverse lights lol I left mine like that for like a month

thanks man yea the tranny is in but its sticking out now havent had time to put it in completly. i was just scared if i put the MT bushing in wrong...the wiring .yea fu** it i dont need reverse lights.

so some of the sensors in the tranny i wont need them only just that speed sensor

yup you got it correct if you need pics i'll go take some of the wiring but you only use 2 plugs on the trans, speed sencor and reverse sensor the others are useless
