1993 twin cam ka24de...r12 or r134?? and if its r12 can i use an adapter and shoot in the r134??

it will say on the compressor. if its 12 just evacuate it, change the fittings, and you can put 134 in it. not the right way but it will work

people are so clueless on a/c il help. To tell the difference between 12 and 134 the fittings are diff, 12 has external thread on fitting and 134 has internal tread. No to evacuate just open the valve and empty the system then vacuum and charge with 134 ne more ? pm me

evac., vacume, add oil, add proper charge, and go.

you can fill an r12 system with 75% charge of r134a. like if it asks for 2 lbs you put 1.5.
