AHHA tuning sugestions

ok i got my car back from jgautoworks.. s14 blacktop sr20 with hks stage 2 cams, springs, the works on the head... new headgasket, stock injectors, fpr, apexi neo, apexi avcr.. anyways ive been trying to tune the damn thing to run with the Z32 maf on the neo.. 2 in 5 out, dec air settings, then messing with the air map chart(i got a wideband aem by the way)... i get it to run good, perfect then it just sucks out of nowhere.. when i let go of the gas the rpms drop and dont stop till they die.. i dunno what to do?!!? is there a shop that is good with sr's and tuning the neo??
 
Unless you have something wrong with your IACV, this is just a matter of setting your dec air settings properly.

Why not just run the SR MAF and make your life easier until you upgrade injectors? 370's wont push you beyond the limits of the stock MAF.
 
ok heres the deal.. i did the decel air setings, got the fuel settings set with the wideband and a few street runs.. fpr is set to stock... when i turn off the car and go back to it... runs like shit now, even though all the settings are still the same.. IDK?!?!? im guessing an injector is bad or something?? i dunno anyone ever experience this problem??
 
Hm, sounds odd. You could have a leaky or stuck injector. Maybe there's a wire loose somewhere?
 
yea the shop put in "some injectors they had lying around" so im gonna go with its a bad injector and get some nismo 555s... this sucks im gonna have to wait till december!
 
Well if you take the rail off (or partly off) and turn the ignition to ON (not cranking), you'll be able to tell if one is leaky. It could just be a bad o-ring which is a pretty simple fix.
 
tried that... injectors dont leak... u think if the timing is a little off it would cause that?
