alternator help!!!

hey guys, i posted an alt thread earlier and the wire going to the alt was really bad. i pulled it and it broke off the alt. now i cut and cleaned and put back on...i start car and the wire is smoking now and the wire gets hot hot...any idea whats going on???? need help asap...thanx!!

make sure u connected it on the right place and make sure your ground is connected

its there bro, i didnt do much repairing but cut strip and put back. new alt?????

id say use a thinker gauge wire and check all grounds

its been fine before until i found the bad wire today..
