my dog seems to have gotten something in his eye. It's all pinkish, and seems swollen. Kinda reminds me of pink eye. Problem is, he has cataracts as well (hes older), so I'm not sure If something could have developed from that maybe? I know it hurts him, because hes not his normal, happy self and is trying to wipe his eye constantly, but yelps. Takig him to the vet tomorrow, but wanted to know if anyone here has any experience w/ this?
 
thanx bro. i dont think its a big deal really, probably just some crud that got in his eye. but still sux to see my lil ninja in pain :-(
 
My dog had the same problem. We took her to the vet. Gave her some antibiotics and eye drops and it was cleared up in about a week or so.
 
My dog has the same problem I think...Her tear ducts are pink and swollen. She has a lot of discharge coming from here eyes...I'm taking her tomorrow... :ugh:

where do you live?? FAT BASTARDS mom is a vet, has her own practice too, its called beow meow if anybody knows what im talkin bout
 
thanx for the kind words guys. I'm taking him to the vet across the street today. Hopefully its nothing major, just an eye infection. As mike said, my dogs a trooper, if he can survive all that he's been through so far, he'll be fine after this
