Ok, so the heat in Fl is silly!

so i bought an rb20 a/c compressor because my rb didnt come with one(on the way)


but i need to check it and make sure its the right one and if it bolts up!

My 2 questions r:

1. can someone (with a rb20) tell me something thats on there a/c compressor that i can use to identify that its the right one?

and

2. In this pick i know its one of the pulleys on the right side, could someone tell me if its the top pulley or the lower one?
(when i say pulley i dnt mean the center one, but the 2 on the right!) lol

it should be the one on the bottom right, im not sure cuz i dont have an rb but it looks rele similar to the ac compressor on the ka
 
alright one question down, one more to go....

anyway of telling the difference between a rb25 and rb20 compressor????

the guy i bought it off of wants to kno because he also has a rb25 one for his build nd wanted to be certain....lol

the questions r just simple identification questions, because i have never seen an rb compressor, and the guy who sent me the one i bought had 2 on for 20/25 so he wanted me to let him know that he didnt send the wrong one because he needs the 25 for his rb......

well bolting it up to make sure it lines up and everything i can do no problem, as for the work, i no little to nothing about a/c besides the simple components cuz i did some research....but the real work will be done by a shop.

actually if you knew what you were looking for... you can see the every edge of the a/c lines. As for the 25-20 i dont know if there is a difference or not.

let it be known since i can tell you dont know.. when you get the compresor you need to get the half of the lines that bolt into the compressor if not your wasting your time. your A/C shop wont be able to make you lines with out the end that goes into the compressor

the fact that you start a thread off asking to identify in a picture which one of those componets was a A/C compressor is what did it for me.

and no im not going to go through the effort of going though ms paint to point out the lines. you either see them or you dont.

it does say u dont have to much knowledge because if u used process of elimination u would know which was which....but g/l man
 
look just stop trying to act like you know what your talking about. Its ok if you dont know everything about cars. I have no problem asking for help when i need it, but if your going to ask for something as simple as which one is a compressor as it is easy as pie to tell which is in that pic... then say that you dont know much about a/c's then come back and say oh i do know... and get all sandy for no reason dont bother asking for help in the first place. its obvious to people who do know more then you that you dont know about a/c's and its why your taking it to a shop like you stated to have all the work done. thats totaly fine ask your questions then move on... but dont start getting all macho and offended and start saying oh yea... um yea i knew that was the a/c compressor i just wanted to um... yea no

ooo btw the guy who took that pic/owns motor and starter of his build thread on 502streetsene( spell check?) said that his motor only came with the compressor no lines so in that pic there r no a/c lines:bigthumbu:laugh:

dude GTFO! after posting the pic and getting the 2 links on page one i found that it was infact the a/c compressor, i didnt read what they posted and then was like yea i knew that......thats not how it was, but way to make urself look like a douche:bigthumbu
