Batteries keep dying!!!!

Ok so I'm on my 4th battery now. So I put my first battery in and it worked fine for like two days and then my starter would just click but if I kept turning the key if would eventually start. I thought it was my starter so I got my starter rebuilt and it didn't help. Then I started having to jump it, I took my battery to AutoZone a d got it recharged then they tested it and it was bad. They replaced it and everything was fine for a couple days and then It started All over again. Brought it back they charged it and tested it andit was bad. They replaced it and this time I put it in but when I would park I would disconnect the nagitive terminal and it worked for about 2 weeks and me and my brother checked for amp draws and we found nothing, when the key is off there is no draw from the battery. So I kept the battery connected and 3 days later the battery was dead. I took it to AutoZone they chArged it and tested it and it was bad.. I asked the clerk if I could exchange it for a miata battery and they let me. So today I moved the battery back up front and I used the extra 4 gauge wire ihad to add more grounds from the
Motor to chasis and then I went to start my car and the battery was dead.. I went back to AutoZone but they were closed so ihave to wait till tomorrow to check the batt but now I'm very frustrated so I want everyones opintion on WTF this could be! Could there be a problem in the alternator? Can I check without buy another one and wasting more money? When I put my tester on the battery when it's running it reads 14.1 and when I turn the car off it reads 11.7

when the car is on disconnect the negative from the batt if the car turns off its the alt...if it stays on then there's something draining your batt

Ok go turn the car on, remove the positive terminal not the negative while the car is on. If it shuts off its definitely you're alternator. Now there could be the issue where the alternator is slightly working but not too its full potential. that needs a load test at autozone done.

^ Thats exactly what I was going to say.

Test to see if alt works, if it does go have it tested for power output. It could be dying like above stated.

Ok yes it was partially working and now it's dead for sure.. And the battery I got yesterday was just bad from the get go.. Thanks for the help
