car temperature help!

ok well the car runs perfect and everything.but when my temperature reaches 180 it turns off.and it refuses to turn on again.and if it does turn on when i give it gas it turns off.its only happen twice.but when i let it cool down it starts up perfect and runs perfect. im not really sure whats wrong so any ideas would be help and be greatly appreciated.thanks :bigthumbu
 
Might be your crank angle sensor(distributor) check you ecu codes....

Had this same problem with my car, car would heat up then would turn off when i'll drive for more than 20 mins or so... And when it'll cool down it'll start right back up perfectly.

yea thats exactly what it does.ima check it out.anyone else with ideas?
