hey guys what's up I need help with my 240sx. my check engine light is on and ill like to know if there is a way to check it out if I don't have a code scanner plz let me know asap and anoter thing wen I accelerate my car it responds like 2 sec after plz help me out thank you guys in advance.!!!!!
 
Is it an OBDI or OBDII? If it's OBDI you can't just take it to the store and have it scanned. There is a way to check it, I've done it before, but can't really remember the way to explain it without the car in front of me.

If it's OBDII take it to the auto parts, have them pull out the scanner and scan for codes.
