Hey everyone, just put together a super rough version of my reel. Trying to get ready for Siggraph convention in LA in a couple of weeks. Im looking for any feedback regarding the edit, graphics and thing you think sucks or like. If you like the music ... Anything is appreciated. The more feedback the better.

Dude that video is crazy, it looks like something that would be on TV! I don't know if supposed to be like that but I really didn't get time to read the stuff, it would go by so fast. But other than that it's awesome!! What's the name of that song?!
 
yea its a fast compilation of all my tv work the the last couple of years, and the song is D.A.N.C.E by Justice but its my own mix for this purpose
 
When there is not to Critque, why critque? The colors, movements of everything goes perfect.
 
Everything just looks so smooth....Really Nice Work!

But since you want a critique, the guy thats walking through the beds looks a little weird walking, I'm guessing since he's a real guy and everything is CG. That's it though :bigthumbu

i tried to read all the things to be read and it almost gave me a seisure...

but otherwise from that your work is stunning; graphics, detail, everything was so smooth.
 
lol on the seizure.. And thanks allot to everyone for their comments and critiques. and Arauz thnx for pointing that out, i agree that he slips a little bit in the composite ill try to fix that before the final version goes out

ok, not perfect.... fukin great compositions.. but not quite there...

probs -
-the sequencing is, ofcourse, offbeat (but then matching clips with the beat is hard, but i kno you can do it)

-seizure? yes... a clip is a clip because it highlights the best part of something... yr just highlighting everything randomly back and fourth... give the clips sometime for the audience to say 'wooaaoow' not 'wo...wait a seco..ah... ohh, huna?'

-i was gonna say some more, but thats a good start....


....keep it up, plenty of work out their for a great GA

nice work bro but what most people on here dont know is you need a short to the point reel cause you give them one over a minute and a half and they just turn the shit off. I should know my demo reel was like 3 and half minutes and companys loved my work but hated my reel but hey watcha gonna do

Totally agree with that. It sucks taking your best work and cramming it in such a short amount of time.

Slow everything down. My brain is kinda slow and I was still on the first commercial and I think it was on the 4th commercial.

I'd cut about half of the commercials out and slow everything down. I didn't listen to the music as I'm sure that most employers will have the tv on mute.
