did a 5 speed swap. put a stage 4 clutch in..and now ive had a problem wiht the clutch not disengaging. tried adjusting the pedal and bleeding the slave and everything. just dont know if there was something missing that i didnt do. dont know what to do...once its fixed i plan to sell the car but i need it driving right first. maybe someone can help.. thanks.

did you try removing the foot from the pedal??

but rly maybe the pressure plate jammed or the fork got stuck, i've pulled out clutches where the springs on the disc popped out and jammed into pressure plate before

we pulled the tranny and the pilot bearing was alll chewed up. changed that and it fixed the a different problem we were having but its still not disengaging.

Could it be the slave cylinder not strong enough to push in the pressure plate? Need a better slave?

did you adjust the pedal so that it is at its highest, which will give you the longest travel? and do you feel good pressure in the pedal all the way through? and like dan said, a clutch only goes in facing one way. check to see your clutch fork is not bent or cracked. as long as your slave is not leaking you dont need a better slave.
