I documented my Japanese curry making hotness. Heres a step by step with me in teh kitchen :)

3 chicken breasts diced
IMG_4803.jpg

2 big potatoes diced
IMG_4804.jpg

2 portabella mushroom caps sliced
IMG_4807.jpg

medium sweet onion (try not to use non sweet onions I think it overpowers the dish)
IMG_4809.jpg

carrots
IMG_4811.jpg

Heat up a big deep pot and throw in the chicken and taters cook the chicken until its white on the outside
IMG_4812.jpg

when the chicken is white add the onions and pour enough water *about 4 cups* to cover the contents,
IMG_4814.jpg

prepare your curry, cut it into cubes it will dissolve a bit faster
IMG_4815.jpg

stir in the curry and bring the water to a simmer. The curry will thicken as it cooks. If its too thick add more water. stir frequently so the curry doesnt burn, do this for about 15 minutes
IMG_4816.jpg

Get the rice started *I use 3 cups jasmine rice*
IMG_4817.jpg

water chestnuts are optional.....I lurv them
IMG_4818.jpg

Drop in your mushrooms, carrots, and water chestnuts. Cook for another 5 minutes and keep stirring
IMG_4820.jpg

after 5 minutes everything should be good and cooked. This should be your final result

DING RICE IS DONE DING RICE IS DONE!
IMG_4826.jpg

grab a shallow bowl. Arrange how you like. Traditional would be like this
IMG_4828.jpg

Grab a utensil of your choice and fouk it up. Curry rocks the house, best thing is you can put in anything you like. This time I used a bit of honey, tasted pretty good. VEry spicy and sweet, but then again most japanese curry is.

I might do this once a week, I gotta start cooking again I seem to be very good at it

Oh, to whoever cleaned up this thread, thank you very much

NO prob TJ. Food looks Fuego! I dunno what is wrong with these fucks and not eatting Mushrooms. Fegs!

I dunno the name of the curry because the packaging is in Japanese. I have a ton more though because I bought like 30 packs at once in case they stopped selling it

Used 3 cups rice, 4 cups water
