engine codes

i got the following codes on the car and would like to know any suggestion for repairs or tests to run based on the codes.

180:fuel temperature sensor
340:camshaft position sensor
443:EVap emission control system
1105:Air fuel metering
100: maf
505:idle control system
110:IAT sensor circuit

your getting most of the codes due to your ka beeing turbo'd when i had my ka-t setups i was putting out like 15 codes try a diffrent mf for your car and see what happens, i got one u can use

dont worry about the fuel temp sensor, evap control that means nothing.

did u adjust your timing by retarding the distributor because if u did thats where the camshaft position came from and the codes 1105,100,505, and 110 is beacuse you but a turbo on your car and the ecu soesn't understand boost! like i said clear the codes try a diffrent maf and if the samething happens and the codes comeback up just ignore them. they shouldn't allow your car to run.

what wont turn on? did this happen out of nowehre or did you install something?

ya want to know the codes i get if there is a problem................. The engine shuts off or dose not want to start.

IAT, fuel temp, evap ECS are not quiet important. Idle control system will cause weird idle conditions, if it is ideling correctly and consistant and stable then i wouldnt worry. The only things i would worry about are the mafs. And if you get a error for mafs which can trigger the code for the air fuel metering.

Dose the car run?

Providing the car runs corrrectly:
Alot of times I will get codes come up on cars, ill read them, record them and erase them. If the codes come back consistantly then there is definitly something wrong. When you have a list of codes it is usually generated from an improper voltage in the circuit and it kinda glitches for a second during a engine cycle and its recorded.

okay i just saw that teh car is not starting. If you have a digital multi meter you can check to see if you are getting 12v and ground at the mafs plug. IF you have power and ground inspect the connection make sure everything is clean and the wires are not pulled out of the harness plug. Then maybe try a different mafs.

My z32 mafs took a shit a while while while ago, and to keep the car drivable. I turned the boost down and reinstalled the s14 mafs and changed the settings in the safc so that the car would read the air flow correctly. (change in and out settings).

based off the trouble codes the most probable thing that will go wrong is the mafs and that is why the car is not starting.
