As of Monday Oct 1st 2007. You the driver is not requiered to have Personal Injury protection (P.I.P). This applys to all vehicles that aren't purchased from a dealer and are still making payments on and on leased vehicles.

Hurray!!!! One less bill to worry about :bigthumbu
 
so.. i dont need ensurance in my car no more ? that sounds perfect.. im gonna get a party in my house in this case. lol
 
PIP will not be gone for long... It will be back probably as soon as tom with a special session Mr. Christ just called. Money talks my friends and the Dr's and lawyers have big bucks and even bigger lobbiests. It will be revised but PIP is not going anywhere :mad:
 
as cool as it is to not have to insure a car, it still sux. now if you get into an accident with someone who has no insurance, and cant pay to fix your car...your screwed

You still need insurance but apparently PIP is no longer required.
 
LOL... You still need car insurance;. Always have and you always will. What no more PIP means is that if you are "hurt" in an accident you do not automatically have $10,000 from your own policy to pay for medical bills. You will have to go after the "at fault" party to collect for you medical bills.
 
pip for me @ least is so cheap anyways i do not know why people would want to take that off their plan. God forbid something happens to them.
 
im still keeping my ish, can't risk runnin into somebody because a component on the car fails, and having to pay for both parties out of my own pocket. now thats whats gonna hurt.
