an excerpt from wikipedia's discussion page for the "drifting" article
this was written im assuming back early on when the drifting article on
wikipedia was in its early stages. its gone through alot of editing/improvements since then but imo its still very lacking in its use of proper encyclopedic grammer, citations, and all around it reeks of opinions being stated like facts. i just wanted to encourage some part of the drifting community to improve this article for the love of drifting and paint a much clearer correct image of drifting for the many people interested in it that will read this article. i've already made quite a few changes myself. theres no requirements to be able edit the article at all, not even an account. wikipedia encourages anyone and everyone to contribute whatever they can. and it doesnt have to be perfect just better. i believe because we have first hand experience and are so deeply involved with the sport the responsibility falls square on our shoulders and of many just like us to ensure the proper representation of the sport that it so deserves.
Drifting article on wikipedia
disgruntled reader on wikipedia who obviously gives a fuck said:Please note I've added a heading to inform readers that this article is absolute shit. If somebody with any sort of knowledge extending beyond Google-ing "drifting" would read through the article and remove the retarded shit (and for that matter, anybody with some knowledge of proper encyclopedic grammar) that would be great. And before you ask, I'm not fixing it myself because I just don't give a fuck about this subject, but can't stand to let an article this bad remain in this condition without saying something.
