Front Coilovers Clicking?

Yeah so my front coilover makes this clicking sound when I turn the wheel backing out of a spot or something slow... When I'm driving it either doesn't happen of i just don't hear it... WTF? Any input highly appreciated! Thanx

its normal, my coils used to do it too, its just the spring moving when you turn the wheel.

Cool man... I was starting to get worried... We pre-loaded the springs again and made sure everything was nice and snugg... it was still doing it.... good to know its normal... First set of coils so thanx

Wat kind of coils r they??? I don't believe that's normal
I've had my coils for like 5 years now n they never made a sound

yeah, even with preload, the top perch stays stationary but the bottom perch spins when you turn the wheel, causing the spring to bind.

neither do my new ones, but some do, ive heard it from multiple people. also, it happens in weird conditions

I'm not sure exactly what kind they are... my brother got them for me, they were never installed b4 i got them though I know that... Someone else had told me about the spring binding thing too... Supposedly, the springs are coated so sometimes they grip too good on the strut and cause the spring to bind and click... someone suggested on zilvia to sand the coating off the bottom of the spring and put a little grease so it moves easier... theoretically, it makes sense but i would hate for it to rust or something...

yea rear passenger spring does the same thing i wonder if spraying some wd40 on the top were it binds will stop the noise??

i have stance GR+pros and they do the same thing has done it since they were installed. i had asked people aswell and a couple told me its happen to them before
