as many of you know, its been a tough year for me...loosing the car, starting over from nothing. but in the next month, i WILL be picking up a 93-97 camaro, probably v6. I've been out of the game too long, and need my fix!! heres the proposed plans for it, LMK wat you guys think.
use: daily driver...until i can get another DD, then will be my whore strictly for track use ;-)
goodies:
-dropping in LT1 w/ T56
-trying to find a way to run ITB's on the LT1, but might have to go LS1 for that setup :-\
-not building motor too much, maybe just cams and lifters, as more HP/TQ actually makes my goal harder...350-400whp is my goal. i had about 275 on the old car, and it was enough to learn on.
-Moser 12 bolt Rearend
-58mm TB if no ITB's
-SS airbox w/ functional SS hood (if no ITB's)
-long-tubes running to a true dual from headers back w/ cat-delete
-rearseat removal w/ cage installed
-C6 Z06 wheels for daily driving/show...stocks/ZR1 wheels for sliding
-going to see if C6 Z06 brakes fit...if not, C5/C6 stocks will do
-suspension will be mostly custom work as most, if not all camaro suspensions, are made to go str8. def thinking KYB adjustable shocks, eibach sportline sportlines to start off with though. this will probably be the first thing to go in before the LT1, while its still a daily driver.
ambitious project, i know...but it will be worth it IMO. all who know me know my <3 for this damn car. i need my fix again, its been too long
