Good Timing

Hey guys i need a favor please i have a 1993 240sx stock ka24de just did a head job but cant get the timing right its kickin my a$$ i bought the manual but its 4 like 3 diffrent cars and i can go off that shit. if anyone has some details i can go off of or come over and help.

i got a digital timing light but no ride... find a way to me and i might be able to help you w/ that. you ever set the timing on a car befor?

ok well the cam shaft has a little notch that fits onto the sprocket it can only go one way and on the number one barring witch is right behing the sproket you will see a little arrow, the notch and the arrow have to line up when the first pistone is at tdc. Also he rotor must also be pointing at the wire for pistone one on the cap. ps turn the motor over clockwise 4 times b4 you cranck the car and if it gets stuck dont force it go back and re cheak your timing

well im a noob at this iv never set the timing on my car before its killing me i want to get it right. but thanx very much auroras13 and projectrb26dett, i just want to get it right the first time so i dont snap a cam or somthing. wish they had a timing book for dummies on a ka24de im sutch a noob blah!!
