H.U.D. wiring?

well it never really occered to me but im interested in making this thing work, i have a 93 240sx coupe with a 94 vert motor...i have the regular cluster tho not the super cool digital one....my question is , is it possible for the hud to work on the cluster i have? bc if i take out the actual hud thingy all the wires are there but obviously not connected to anything..
 
the hud has more plugs on the back
the sub harness splits signal from oem harness...
if u used sub harness from hud...and no worky..
theres got to be a wire thats not getting connection..
i did the opposite i swapd from hud to analog cluster...
i used sub harness for analog and it works fine
