So I'm buying some xxr 513's tonight but I need help.. the rims are 16x8 and id like a stretched tire with a aggresive look ,I was thinkin 215/45/16 N 235/45/16 can anyone tell me what should I do its for a 89 coupe , I also wanted to know if they can clear z32 breaks , and what offset would be good forwhat I'm looking for. Anyone plz help me :) thanks alot

an agressive stretch wont be attained with those tires.....

i have 18x10's with 225/40 up front, 235/40 out back thats a decent stretch, on my mb battles, 17x9.5 i ran a 215/40 up front, and a 225/45 out back.....those widths will not be a real stretch if its stretched at all.......and if it doesnt clear the brakes run out to autozone and buy some ghetto spacers....thats what i did.

And what about for the rear? 235 should be good right.. cuz id like to go wide but I don't wanna be rollin fenders is this gonnabe a problem? Also when u say 0 offset that means the wheels is even with the car right

Skinny d , check it out so what u think would be dope as far as not rollin fender should I go wider in the rear cuz for a rim 16x8 I mean what's the widest u can go , ofcourse without rollin fender.. what about 215/45 n 245/45 ? Yeaaa I'll get them spacers no doubt , but let me ask u does ur car vibrate on high speeds? I've heard the spacer causethat, but I idk if its truee... holla!

OMFG LMAO

o offest is dead center of the wheel if your car is slammed it will sit flush if your at stock ride hieght its gonna stick out. If your cars dumped on 0 offset rims you gonna have to do a little fender work. and you should run 205 all around if you want stretch if you want traction and your na 225 boosted 235.

Aight yeaa ima be slammed on coils , boosted by the way so id go 235 , and iguess 205 in the front then.. I guessno need for spacers yet.

thanks sas....jeez dude do a little research....u said u wanted stretch, but now ur talking like u want wide ass tires.... which do u want?

If your looking for stretch 235 is not the way to go.. 235 on a 8" wheel will be the opposite of stretch.. it will stick out wider than the rim..

OMFG your a tard. if you run a 205 up front and 235 out back your shit is gonna understeer like a bitch when it comes to tires on a 8" wide rim you can have traction and grip or stretch not both. if your building it like 90% of the posers on here then go for stretch if your building it to drive at the track then go wide

Naw naw I've done the reasearch but people seem to be rolling fenders.. I was just sayin , what size would be good to be stretched.. and sas tellin me 205 up front and 235 up rear.. I think that's gonna look mean wouldn't u say?...

235's on an 8inch wide wheel? and you want it to be stretched? I have 225's on my 8 inch wide wheels and thats not stretched at all.

edit: I think its amazing how many people posted as i was typing this... hahaha

i didnt tell you to run 205 front 235 rear i said if you want stretch 205 ALL AROUND if you want grip 225 front 235 rear please read

Go to my wheel for sale thread. You will see pictures of a 225/45 on a 9" wheel.. picture an inch less of wheel and 10mm more tire

you'll probably have more traction with a 205 stretched than a 235 ( if your slammed and you have some negative camber)

thats why you run 0 camber and roll your fenders:bigthumbu
