Just baught another HUD cuz mine was not working...i baught it, installed it checked if it worked and it did(thanks you Street_Sweeper). OK so i put everything back togerther and was all happy and was gonna take it for a drive....but now the RPMs dont work....everything esle does though. My rpms in my other cluster did(but the HUD didnt lol). Ok so here is my theory, my cluster redlines at 7K, this one redlines at 6K, so im thinking the cluster is from a SOHC, and mine is DOHC.....does that have to do with anything? Can i get my old cluster and switch the RPM guage with this one and will it work? Its not a BIG deal i can drive without an rpm gauge...but im just picky about things i want it working right.

funny you mention that. I have an HUD as well in my car and my speedometer wasn't working when i first got the car and after like 3-4 weeks i got it to work. Now its not working anymore but my Rpms , lights and everything else work with no problem. The Rpms could be associated with it being from a SOHC but im not sure how to fix it unless u'd have to use a SOHC throttle cable. that might work.
im thinking just ripping both clusters apart and switching the RPM gauges.
Yep fixed it. Switched the RPM guages and now it works...i went ahead and swapped my mileage thing too...105k...had to keep it on! lol......wel there u go whoever else that has this problem is another problem solved!
