In a way I'm relieved...I installed an rb20det into my s13, and when it was show time it did not start!!! I did everything to get it to turn on...re-wired it. Bought new sensors, did everything till the ecu blew. So I'm trying to buy a new one for the rb20det and noticed my ecu didnt have the same numbers...It turns out the damn shop sent me a gtr ecu from an r34 for the rb26dett...theres my damn problem...With a new ecu that shit better start! Anybody need an ecu for an rb26dett?
It's been 1 1/2 months of turning an engine over with no crank...

i'm not sure about the 20's but know that the 25's have 2 relays by the ecu they were both MIA so i thought i didn't need them. littel did i know that's why my rb wasn't starting. check them so it dosent happen to you.

The ecu needs repair, I checked every wire on the pinout...I just couldnt make sense of anything...I had the 2 relays near the ecu, and they were buzzing like crazy...no injector pulse. I'm glad I found my problem. If anyone has questions about doing an rb20det swap just pm me or go to this...http://forums.nicoclub.com/zeroforum?id=135
Just search! Plenty of info, but some of it is very vague, just pm me. :bigthumbu

The good thing is that the engine is in great condition. Great compression numbers, the harness was complete, no broken sensors...I couldnt be happier. It came with an ignitor, maf, all that good stuff. I'm going to get in contact with them to see what they say, then tell you how it goes. I believe I bought it from japanmotor off ebay. I did go the cheap route going with an ebay seller but I emailed people who previously bought from them and they had no problems...

I also wanted to know where I should get my intercooler piping done? Anyone have suggestions? I'm doing a front mount...thanks!

i had mine done at cake's fab. he did a great job :bigthumbu also do you have any downpipe rubbing on the steering shaft issues? if you need a nice down pipe i have a good contact for that also.

For intercooler piping call RAW Racing in Davie (954) 257-9787. The are doing an S13 RB26 swap and they have a Skyline R33 that is getting a FMIC and exhause if you want to see their excellent work.

I was going to say that same thing. They do some sick work over there! Clean too. The s13 is only one of the many jobs he did for our shop!

thats not a bad price but. but when i see something that cheap how good can they really be. I know that a lot of those ebay FMIC kits have garbage piping.

the only XS power intercoller i ever held was heavy as hell, everyone thought it was steel untill the magnet fell off, LOL.

Heavy is better. Heavy = MORE ALUMINUM = MORE HEAT DISSAPATION
