I got home today, to find a letter from my lawyer telling me I have to go to an aggressive driving course.

It basically stated that they looked at my shit and thought I got off too easy on all my driving offenses. The used a ticket of 104/70 to sentence me to this shit, after reviewing my whole record. I haven't gotten a traffic violation since 03-08. The day of Guy's picnic at Markham Park to be exact. And the speeding ticket I got for doing 104MPH i got in 01-07. They have got to be kidding me.

I have plenty of speeding tickets and other violations like tints, registrations, broken windshield, and one reckless driving. Each time i was let off with a driving course, some ridiculous court fee, and no points. I have IMO a great fucking lawyer who takes care of all my traffic offenses. But now I get some bullshit sentence to an 8 Hour Aggressive Driving Course out of FUCKING NO WHERE and a few hundred dollars in court fees/penalties.

Can they really do this? WTF!
 
My brother had to do the same course up north. They told him.. either you take the course or you can't drive.. not even to work. It just sucks balls that he had to take time off of work to take the course.. and still have to pay the money on top of that. I don't know if they make you do it.. but they can say.. hey.. you didn't take the course.. you can't drive.
 
I got a couple hundred dollars in fees, and I also have to pay like $75 just for the course, and I'll even lose more money because I have to take off of work. WTF. I wanted to start school this term, and if I don't pay this shit, I'll lose my license, and my job. I need a valid license to hold my job, because I spend a good portion of the day driving cars... This is ridiculous.


BTW: the shit smelled so bad I didn't want to taste it...
 
i honestly dont know if they could do that. id think once you did your time your crime shouldnt come bite you in the ass unless you try and get a job or something requiring a background check.

did you talk to your lawyer about this? like seriously he/she should know some loop hole in the system
 
I chilled out cuz I got tired of paying ridiculous amounts of money to the state, my lawyer, and various driving schools. Those were honestly a couple of thousands of dollars wasted away. I remember the last time I went to court the judge asking me "Don't you get tired of giving the state your money?" lol

I feel I have been doing better with y driving but then this comes to bite me in the ass... That's honestly a couple hundred dollars that I cannot afford to pay right now I'd really rather give the money to my mom who took off work for a leg injury... :[
 
this happened to dorby (the aggressive driving course). just make sure u take the right course the first time.[there is more then one]

big mistake & waste of money the first time lol.

yo 4 real you got off easy imo quit bitching and just take the course. im pretty sure u cant do that 1 over the internet but still maby you should think about what you do. its not that bad atleast its justr money and ur licence isnt suspended or revoked

Regardless I'm gonna come up with the money and pay it, but I'm not taking the online course, last time I fell alsleep and had to take it again.

Anyway, I spoke with my lawyer, she said court magistrate looked at my driving record and actually wanted to asses points, higher fees, and a 12 hour course. She talked him down to just the 8 hour course, no points, and like the almost 300 in fees.



Anyone need anything done? Pressure cleaning? I needz the cash.
