ok so my s13 has brought me a new "project" problem lol ... when i was driving to work today she started acting weird id accelerate and at about 40 - 50 mph the wheel would start shaking not much but it would not hold steady, just kept shaking from side to side. so i took her on a back street and opened it up a little and sure enough i get above 50 and it starts shaking pretty bad. but it also gets worse when i hit the brakes. t shakes really hard but goes away pretty suddenly when im moving slower. im thinking bearings are loose and they need to be packed or changed. anyone have some feed back or had this problem?

im thinking maybe rotors is where ima start because all my calipers are new and i rebuilt the brake master cylinder that i pick up from you (burninskulls) a couple days ago :bigthumbu (btw thanks because the car actually stops now lol) and my brakes lines are new as well my dumbass didnt fix the rotors so ima start there probably just take em off tomorrow and cut them at my friends shop until i buy new ones ... and check the tires balance ... hopefully it works if not ill be here again lol ...

my car does it but its my tension rods my brakes are all new and wheels are perfectly balanced the only thing it could be know is tension rods and mine are pretty shoot. So id look into that if i were you

Your brakes could be stock.Check the wheels after you drive around for 10-15miles.If they are hot thats your problem.

My Brothers car had this once.

As someone said the Rotors can be warped.
maybe your brakes were hot and u drove into a puddle causing them to warp.

Check your

Tires:
Tire balance
Tire wear (cupped tires sometimes cause vibrations)
Signs of bent rims

Front suspension:
Rack n Pinion
Inner n Outer tie rods
Shocks or Coils Whichever you have
-Check mounts
-Check if springs are seated properly
Check all bushings
-Control arms, Sway bar, etc...
Check Alignment
Check Wheel bearings

Brakes:
Check for warped rotors
Check for dragging calipers

I know that's a lot to check but just one thing, or a combination of things, could make driving a PITA..

BTW Warped rotors would most commonly be diagnosed when applying the brakes, not while accelerating.

The wobbling while NOT braking can still be caused by the rotors being warped. If it gets worst while braking than its most likely the rotors.

I never said that it didn't wobble when the brakes were not applied, I said warped rotors can most commonly be DIAGNOSED while applying the brakes. Vibrations under acceleration could be a number of things, other than warped rotors.
