Yesterday finally forced my brother to give me a hand in swapping out the pumpkins and putting in the Tomei t-trax 2-way lsd i bought. For the initial break in i used some non-synthetic 80w-90 gl-5 fluid and some LSD additive my brother got from the dodge dealership he works at. Filled her up, dropped her in and went to do the figure-8's which i did for about 40+ mins. Let me say with no powersteering rite now my arms are a bit sore today :ghey: .
My question is when i was doing the turns and i clutched-in/neutral i got NO chatter/tire skipping. I heard a sound kinda like the clutch discs friction/rubbing when i was close and at full wheel-lock. A few times i clutched out before the wheel was really straight and it clunked/skipped a few times so i knew it was engaging. Just wondering if this was normal? Also i don't get any crazy chatter taking normal 90* turns in gear, if i light throttle, give it a bit more and it starts the chatter. This is my first LSD and i guess im just a bit anal making sure all is well. By the time i get home from work today i will have also put on some suggest 60miles after the figure 80's as a break in and will be putting in the Tomei fluid, throwing on my steelies and giving it a test-run. :driving:
