HEY. I WANNA GET RID OF THAT POWER HOGING FAN ON THE KA BUT I DONT KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO HOOK UP THE ALTIMA DUAL FANS. I KNOW YOU HOOK ONE UP TO THE IGNITION BUT WHERE DO YOU HOOK THE OTHER FAN UP TO? THNK YUZ.! :p

i have the one thats on the engine its self. i'm not talking about the altima fans. altima fans are electric, i know they dont hog power. but the one that comes stock on the ka hogs power because it uses the engines power to turn. i want to install altima ones but need a lil help. my brother is helping me but he doesn't know where to hook up the 2nd fan.
 
to the ac relay, its on the pass side of the car. its what your stock electric fan is wired to just clip the plug off the stock on and wire it to that. unless you want both fans runing all the time then you can just hook them both up to a switched 12v ignition source.
 
altima fans are good, but if they burn out you would wish that you have the manual fans, they run consistently, and dont rob power what so ever, however, they are good for cooling
 
Discount auto sell a control a universal control unit made by HAyden. I'm using this to run both fans... switches it on at 180 degrees and cools to 160...it only cost like 23bux....
 
havent we gone over this topic enough? its like the new sr vs. ka-t but electric fan vs. clutch fan!!!!!!!!! stop posting whats already been discussed, do some searching on the fourm for your answer to your questions!!!!!
