Japan Bound!!!

Hey everyone , I know most will hate but i finally have the opportunity to visit Japan (Trip has been 8 years in the making)

Looking for any friendly advice of what to check out. Maybe people know of some dope spots to check out the scene over there.

Ill be there for 10 days (end of may) Visiting Tokyo , Osaka and Kyoto

Trying to hopefully find a nice set of wheels for my AE86 preferably a set of ssr MKII. Figured that if i could find the set i can put them in duffel bags and bring them back as extra luggage and pay those fines instead of the massive shipping rate that fed ex wants

So yea.. any advice is welcomed! :bigthumbu
 
Get bigger luggage and sneak me over :D. So I guess Never Lift will be in Japan? Sweet, all I ask is for pics.
 
There will plenty of pics.. Gicomo you have to know of some touge spots in Japan , you know all those option vids like that back of your hand!! HOOK IT UP
 
Daikoku Futo parking on Friday and Saturday. Find out some of the dates for Super GT and D1 and go to the racetracks. Try and get a visitor pass to go to Yokosuka Naval station and meet some car guys at the base and hang with them. Dont only go for car stuff, since summer is almost near try and go to Toshimaen water park with hundreds of slides and check out some Yokohama and Tokyo bay rides on the water. There is alot of stuff there you can do so don't let any day go to waste.

P.S. eat some Yakiniku (burnt meat is translation or Korean Barbeque), ask any American over there where you can go, and you will be grateful.
 
I do know a few but I have no clue how to get there or how far it is from where you'll be lol. Like Ueo's shop(Sift Garage) has it's address on the website. The track he goes to a lot is Sekia Hills and I forgot the other one (it's on his shop's website). I also believe YZ Circuit is like a home track for Hibino, he's there a lot it seems.

Damn dude, what I would do to meet Ueo and Hibino. Latino Hibino meets the real Hibino, and then a battle commences..... Latino Hibino vs. the real Hibino. lol.

im half korean and spent more then half of my life in okinawa, yakiniku is the shit!!!

yeah just talk to the ppl in yakosuka navy station and they will hook you up. if you have a nico account, you can talk to them cuz some of them are in japan.

Yakiniku ftmfw!!!! dont forget hoku hoku tei....the bento there is awesome...a bowl of gyudon at yoshinuya is also the shit...both open 24hrs...great after drinking:bigthumbu

what part of oki? I stayed in cha tan...by foster....but spent most of the time in orukushi down in naha...

my dad worked at kadena air base but we lived in Chatan Cho. our house was right on Sunabe seawall.
 
Hoku HoKu Tei, I forgot how good that stuff was! Chinjao Don is the best IMO bell peppers beef and spices on top of rice is the best. You should check out the Mini Stops as well they have the best soft cream waffle cones. Your going near the start of summer so you'll have a huge blast over there.

P.S. for the guy goin japan bound...I met some cool as drifter/ mechanics all drivin AE86s one night at random...just say joto kruma!!!...all 3 were white and black...seriously...jay and silent bob that shit...they will come to you if they have to stop at lawsons, hot spar, or family mart...lol...fuck it even jusco...lol:laugh::bigthumbu
