my car runs like sh!t

i got my car(1997)240 with a blown motor i put a 91 kade in it and it idles like sh!t it reves up by it self and sometimes it idles good then acts up and idles high or tern off.

it runs fine when you drive it other then it idleing all fuked up its runs good.

it did have a rod knock. i put a new motor in it and its nice ass fuck if u ask me it just dont run to good

if the idle is fucked up could be a vacuum leak, the iacv, timing could be off . I've even heard of the coolant temp sensor causing timing to be fucked up and raising idle...i dunno

What intake manifold are you using? 91 or 97? What harness? Distributor? etc...

manifold, harness, distributor etc is a 97
the only thing that its from a 91 is the long block
its running good now has a miss fire in idle but it runs a lot better i put a new iacv

Mis-Fire could be plugs, Dizzy Cap or Rotor or wires.
