Does anybody here have first hand experience with quick releases made by NRG? Specifically their slim design, or the 2.5 edition normal design. From what I have read, the splined designs (Smart Racing, LTB, et al) are preferred for having less slop. However, as my car doubles as a street car, I don't think I would be happy with the 3+ inch increase in stack height when adding a quick release on top of a Momo hub. The NRG slim design is only 1.25". NRG says it uses a "lock and pin" system. I'm interested in knowing the build quality, ease of use, and the amount of slop in these systems.
On a related note, how far off is the Nardi/Personal steering wheel bolt pattern to Momo/Sparco? Can a Momo hub be modified to fit a Nardi/Personal?
