okay so i got a response.......alot nicer then the one i posted. I like posted PM's i like calling people out. it's what i do. I will never hate on a new drifter. i have help out as many as i can. but i can't handle people having excuse to not drift their cars for gay ass reason. i don't drift mine cause it doesnt run....that is my excure right now. i feel that is a fine excuse. not having a certain amount of stuff done is not. Stock S13's drift damn well from what i hear. i started to drift(actual drifting) with the first mod i did. which was an LSD. $25 from a friend installed in a driveway by me and a total stranger. i have a friend in baltimore with 2 J30 rears sitting in his front yard they are not that hard to come by. so instead of buying big front mounts and big rims and then having excuses why you don't drift......take a stock s13 throw an lsd in it and get some driving skills and some balls.
 
Common excuses are that people "don't want to street drift and fuck shit up or get caught by the PoPos.."

So i always say well then great go to an event

"but I don't know how to drift, I'll look like an idiot and people will laugh at me"

I have had that exact same conversation with 10+ people I have meet who own RWD cars..

Excuses, mostly because people are scared of fucking shit up... I personally like fucking shit up!
 
He's just restating an idea that should be standard since day 1. People make too many excuses to NOT drift.
 
i went drifting in a S2000 and an FD this friday night S2000 went into a swamp we had to tow it out with the FD. then we drifted for 4 more hours....i didn't hear any excused out of these two newbies plus i got to drift both the thier cars.

yes most likely you are a poser. you have a mid engine car and don't drift but want to be a part of the drift community. but i don't hate you if you support drifters correctly...do you pay to go to events. if so that's cool with me.

but by you saying "money to blow" this guy bought that car to have fun in. to enjoy it to it's fullest. not to get laid. not to be pretty. he put it into a swamp cause i had him learning stuff he wasnt ready for. so as fas as i can tell he is getting what he paid for. the people who baby their exotic cars and their JDM silvia wanna be drift cars have the money to blow.

there is 875 register members on this site. if everybody here was really into drifting they would donate money to the SFL drift community that means $20 each is $17,500.00 that means an event anywhere at any track we want. so cut out about half of the members on this forum. and cut down half of that price and we still make $4,380.00. so depending on how many posers, cheap asses, lazy fucks, broken car owners and fake member we have. drifting events would be very easy.....but then all the excused come out so fucking fast. FUCK YOU ALL. POSER PATROL WILL CALL YOU OUT!

I'm not trying to knock heads with anyone but since when do you have to drift your 240 because your on a drift forum. I joined because I thought I might like to get into it, but after looking at it I realized that I don't have the money to dump into it. I'd prefer to buy a nice car that I like. Finding small local forums I found work better than joining a big 500,000+ member forum because you never know who's a scammer.

im not Mad at the world......they all get to have drift events. i'm mad at the south florida drift community of letting itself be overrun by people that are not going to support it.

There's a fine example of somebody drifting yet you're still putting them down. You did the same shit in the video thread after DMU. It's obvious you just get your rocks off disparaging other people.
