Hi everyone. I have a favor to ask of y'all. It doesn't involve you giving any money or anything like that. All I ask is a few seconds of your time.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome. Its an autoimmune disease where the body attacks its own healthy cells (similar to Lupus)-- In particular, moisture producing glands such as salivary glands and tear ducts. It also can affect other parts of the body such as the digestive system and cause over all pain and fatigue. Symptoms can vary, however the most common are dry eyes and dry mouth. (My most prominant symptom is actually the fatigue. Its very overwhelming) People suffering with Sjogrens can go through times where the symptoms are absolutely horrible and can then have periods of time where the symptoms are almost nonexistent. There is no cure for this disease. The only options are to try to treat the symptoms.
Anyway, now to get to the point.
The website igive.com is helping to raise money for the Sjogren's syndrome foundation (funds sjogrens research, hopefully to find a cure!). All you have to do is click on the link below and sign up for an account on the site (don't worry its free!). Once you sign up it will ask if you want to download an App. Just click "skip this step." You will then come to a site where it will tell you how to raise money for sjogrens. Just click on the link in the first option and search for something you may want to buy (For example, I searched for racing seats) and thats it! $1 will automatically be donated to the Sjogrens Syndrome Foundation. No purchase necessary! You could also browse and find other ways to help raise money!
