First of all congrats to all the drivers who got the spot for this event.
There is about 5 or 6 drivers who were over the 50 spots available...
now question is...ONLY registered drivers can answer...
do we let those 5 guys to drive or no...?
if you say yes then we will let them in...if you guys say no...we will refund the money for them...
It is up to you if those few names will be able to drive or not.

I said no because I think 50 driver is already pushing it and we all know Harri and Tim (and maybe you) will be out there too so that's 52 (maybe 53). Oh and if Blake shows up (which seems to happen at every FL event) he'll drift all day in every run group so that's like 5 drivers right there. 50 is enough!!! Oh and DJ and Sean. That's 55 now. 5 more = 60. Insanity.

I voted no once again 50 drivers is alot at ocala there was like 47 and it took a bunch of time for cleaning up the track and such and just think some of us will more then likely go off track and move some cones ... so with the demo drivers and extra drivers we'll be up to 57-60 no a deadline is a deadline..

I vote yes cause I didn't know if I got in in time and I would hate to see someone get excited, spend money and then get let down. I say let them in. It's only a few anyway and I'm sure someone will not show up.

<--- Jeffery Wade. number 49. Now please hush. :)

You made it seem like you didn't get in. Apologies.

Anthony Macaluso

I'll still talk shit though. :bigthumbu

im thinking maybe........... if i didnt sign up in time i would want in . but 50 drivers is alot of people. so i say im for and against it so someone else decide for me. noah hunt #27

i say no
#9 estie falero

too many people not enough time to deal with cone murder all day.

is there gonna be a limit to how many cones you take out before you get told to sit out?

man how bout a section somewhere to practice donuts and figure eights so there is separate lines. That way you don't have to wait as long, while you are waiting for your group to be called. You can at least do something. Also make it so you have to get clearance to get to the course section. This will force the beginners to get the basics down and then less cones will be killed. :driving:

just an outside .02

by the time this was posted on tampa/orlando forums there were 3 spots left, and i know several people who registered as soon as tehy saw the announcement. i'd be willing to help staff just to let the couple extra people in.

is the lot big enough for 2 courses? a high speed entry advance course and a low speed 1-2nd gear practice course? i dont know how big the lot is, and im not tryign to tell you how to do things, but last events i designed courses and had a big part of running in texas we had a 71 and an 82 car count, in a parking lot, and mostly everyone was out of tires by 3pm with 2 courses, 3 25 car run groups, 2 cars on course at all times, i think it was 20 or 30 minute run groups depending on course size.
