Quick ? about which clutche to get

ok this is what happen my clutch started to slip really bad today so now am looking at buying a new clutch and was wonder what would be a good clutch.am liking drifting more and more everyday so i know i would wanna give it a shot in the near future after i get my J30 diff and my clutch so i know i need some thing to handled that but my 240 is also my D.D so i dont want some thing to harsh it at least has to be sprung. i was looking at ACT i know they're good (i had one in my 1 gen turbo eclipse it made over 300 whp) but am not sure if it would take the abuse of drifting.So i just wanna know what everybody else is using...Oh 1 more thing i'am planning on boosting my Ka in the next few months to.Thanks
 
i got an xtd stage 3 on my sr... i have heard good and bad things about it.. but i cant complain its working good so far.. and its not rough
 
a name brand 6puck dampned disc. I run a ACT HDPP that I really like. If you are going to beat the shit out of your clutch with more then 325whp then maybe get an extream pp from act instead of the heavy duty.

Note: I have noticed alot of people who run really really stiff pressure plates blow out their slave cylinders more often. I have been running my heavy duty pressure plate for 20,000 miles no issues.

look around on ka-t.org and view the featured rides or w\e and look on their spec sheet for the clutch that they are running and how much power they are making. If you are going to beat the shit out of your clutch then maybe get an extream pp from act.

R u kidding? A friend of mine has this clutch. Its a Chatter box. You really gotta burn it. 6 puck sprung pos.

Full face ftw... :)
 
How much tq are you putting down?

I have a Spec stage 3 (6 puck) unsprung for a 300zx on my SR. Fidanza flywheel. I don't get any more chatter than expected on this flywheel and the pedal feel is great. This is my first unsprung and I love it. I think people complain too much about unsprung clutches b/c they can't drive. I have no problems.

What kind of flywheel is he running? Running an aftermarket aluminum flywheel can contribute to the chatter. I'm not defending that clutch - name brands 4tw - just saying.
