How can i achieve this drop without coilovers. Like what coils, where can i get them.

It'll be a lot easier to get that drop with regular lowering springs if you use wheels smaller than pictured. You'd be similar to that on 15s with 195/50/15s, or pretty slammed on 14s.

Im not cutting my springs. And i wanna get coils but i dunno what size. On ebay their all 1.8 or 2", i think i wanna do 2.5 in front and 2.25 in rear. How does that sound, anybody have that setup? Oh and ill be using KYB GR2 shocks.

LMAO thats not coils thats lowing springs and your not gonna find springs that go that low. I cut my springs in half and im tuckin 15s with 195/50/15. Oh and KYB GR2 are just about the shityest shocks you can get. you wanna sit that low on springs you gotta heat them or cut them its that simple. if you do cut them atleast be smart enough to weld them into the spring perchs.
 
lmao.... aghhhhh why is everything that i wanna do moneyyyyyyy! lol i owuld cut but i dont have the specific tools, and my car will ride not so well, its my daily i dont wanna break my lower spine.

I do work....but not on my daily i need it. Ive done three engines on my truck, front suspension all by myself(biggest frustration ever lol). This 240 is a completely diffrent world for me. But i wanna do things the right way.

heres ur options end of story--

a. buy springs(most drop ive seen is 2inch. u want lower)
b. cut/heat springs(u dont wanna do that because ur ass will hurt)
c. coilovers(most effective may to "properly" lower ur car but ur broke

bro listen 3 choices u pick, stop bitchen!
 
dude i daily on cut springs its not that bad its a little bouncy but you get use to it. cut your springs and get a different seat. I changed my seat and i have zero back pain from the ride.
 
Wouldnt cutting the springs lower the "spring rate" or w/e, i went through the same thing with my truck, but i dunno i bought 3" drop springs for $100 so it was an easy decision. Nobody makes a 2.5 fr.2.25 rr spring?? I really dont wanna slam, my exhaust it really close to the ground as it sits now, i just wanna close the huge gap i have.

Did i mention it was a big gap lol

Thanks,yes i TRY to baby it. Oh one more thing about cutting the springs, im afraid they wont come out even for some reason,like one side of the car lower than the other lol.

If you know how to mark with a marker and cut both springs in the same spot, it will be even.
 
Look here is an example. My buddys eclipse has springs and look how low it is, but its cuz he has 18s right?

Oh and its lower than that, the ledge makes it look higher.
