Ok on 1/1/08 I posted this thread looking for P/S set ups for a SR

he replied and We agreed on a price shipped for the lines. $125 for all lines and reservoir Shipped. I made payment on 1/8/08 $125 via Paypal (possibly my only saving grace) and he said he would ship out, Fast forward to 1/16/08 I haven't heard anything and I know the guy is only like a hour and a half from me so I'm thinking 2-3 days shipping MAX, I send him a message asking about them..

Here is his reply..

"going out tomorrow i had to find them cause i had to find it cause I'm moving"

Checking USPS from Paypal which automatically send me tracking info Shows he did do something on the 16th..

Here is what USPS shows..

"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 16, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date."

This says to me he printed the shipping ticket. and they never received the package. Fast forward again to this past week, I'm starting to get frustrated, I need these lines to finish my car up. I expected a couple days in shipping and here I am 3 weeks later with no lines. So 1/23/08 I send him an Email saying look I still haven't got the lines, I noticed your also selling the lines on eBay im getting nervous, I see you selling what I bought from you, and some how mine are missing.. his reply is

"i have like 4 sets its been shipped wired ill check up on it for you tho."

So I wait a few days for some info on where the lines are.. and on 1/26/08 I send a PM saying

"3 days ago you were checking on this, I haven't heard back, If you sent them 3 days ago they would be here already. I paid for this on the 8th, Don't you think 3 weeks is a little unreasonable? I checked your tracking, shows that they received the shipping info but never the package. Like you printed the shipping label then lost it. Can you PLEASE find out where my power steering lines are so I can actually drive my car. I never in a million years would have expected 3 weeks to get P/S lines shipped from 100 Miles away."

And I get no reply.. SO today I do a little checking, hes been posting here, meaning hes been on the site, got my PMs and hasn't bothered to return any info to me. I PMed him again asking if hes avoiding me now? and I have to assume he simply plans on ripping me off. Meanwhile I've been e Mailing him as well so tonight I finally get a reply here it is

"its been shipped chill out maybe got lost"

this is his answer to 3 weeks of waiting for my lines.. Ok on the 23rd he said he would check into it, and now Maybe it got lost, as far as I know its his responsibility to get it to me. I'm sure he wouldn't be so relaxed about it if I was holding his $$ and my answer was relax maybe it got lost.. He didn't even say hey Ill check on it again.. basically he said your fucked.. Basically he said I got your money I don't give a fuck if you got your lines.. Then of course I read a thread here in this section about him not showing up to get stuff then bitching when the seller sells it to some one else... Just thought I should Warn people about who they could be dealing with. I'm off to Paypall now to reverse the charges. Honestly I expected better from this group of people.. I guess you get this sort of element anywhere you go..

one bad seller should not make this forum look bad....im sorry you have to go through the motions now! hopefully paypal will reverse the payment! but thnx for the heads up!
 
Ya contact Paypal immediately. Please keep us posted. Once this is resolved I'll be more then hapy to deal with him on the forum end.
 
I put the package in the 24 hour box and it was shipped the day i made the label. What you want me to do drive it to you. Once i put it in the box its outta my hands nothing i can do. Post office tells me it should be there soon maybe it was lost or mis-shipped i dunno they give me stupid reasons why it ain't there. I have no reason to rip you off. I got a business to run here. When you receive the package till me the shipping date on it tell everyone the shipping date on it and then i want the thread deleted cause your making my name look bad. We got a deal thanks.
 
Just filed a dispute with paypal and immediately advanced it to a claim. I know Paypal has a time line for how long you can file a claim and I don't want that to run out, I mean its been 3 weeks already.. From his PMs it appears he figures its my loss, and in no way trying to right the situation. this is the only way I have to correct it.

Thats not business, Business is Ill check on it and see whats going on. You already told me that and didn't bother to get back to me, again thats not business. If you do business you should handle it as such. on the 23rd you were going to check on it, I PM you today and get
"its been shipped chill out maybe got lost" Thats not I checked on it and they don't have any info or they are giving me lame excuses thats says I think its lost sorry your outa luck. Ive ran my own business's for 15 years now.. I know what business is.. and I would surely never leave a customer with that quote. At least not one I expect to ever say anything nice about me with, or ever do business with me again.

Unfortunately all of this could have been avoided with simple business like communication, yes i would still be irritated that it has so far taken 3 weeks to get something 100 miles, But with simple business like communication of "Hey I've checked into it and and USPS has no info for me yet but they are looking into it" would have pacified me and let me know your trying to right the situation. Instead I got chill maybe its lost.. at this point My answer is "its lost and I don't care to fix the problem". Otherwise I wouldn't have started this post or filed the claim. But once the seller puts the idea of your out of luck on it.. I'm doing what I can to save what I can.

Sucks to hear that, i have tried to sell a few things and people tell me that they want it and never even answer my pms, even when they are online they just ignore it. i hate that sooo much, its like they just dont care about anyone else but themselves. Hope you get your money back man, i hate to see you think that everyone on this forum is like him but the thruth is that most people who sell parts here are very friendly and honest. I have never had problems with no one here and its been a pleasure to do bussiness with them.

anyways man, just keep us posted and hope everything works out,

You'll probably lose the dispute on the account that you guys agreed to use USPS. If there is a tracking number it's a different story.... but USPS tracking numbers are garbage.

Moral of the story: Ship UPS/Fedex/DHL.
 
I bought a set of headlight long time a go and i had similar situation bro, the guy said i sent it but the USPS wouldn't find the package, it was lost they didn't know where were the package . well i got piss and bought another set , a week later package arrived . took over 3 week close to a month. it was USPS fault

Actually its shipped USPS, and its got a tracking number, Its also listed through PayPal, meaning they promote using USPS.. the problem is the tracking number shows the package label being printed but never actually shipping. Very possible they lost it. The only way I got a tracking number was from Paypal, the seller didn't send me any shipping info. I believe Paypal will deal with it accordingly. To be honest I believe the seller did at some point ship the stuff, but if it is Lost, I expect him to right the situation, start a claim with USPS or something, Simply let me know "hey I know its been 3 weeks, but I've talked to USPS and this is what they say has to happen as in we have to wait a certain amount of time for it to be considered lost or I've started a tracking on it or something, some sort of do the right thing effort, all he said to me was Chill out maybe its lost. When I get zero help from the seller I have to deal with it the only way I can thats file a claim to get my Money back.
 
He's a BAD BUYER also. i think he's just a kid. when he had to come get the bumper from my cars.. never came..and told me..is hard for me cuz i have to get a car from her mom.. or something like that. dont do bussines with this Guy!

wow thats weird. everytime that i have sold anything and i have had to ship i have done it through usps. i have never had any problem at all and all my costumers have been very pleased. lol. i guess its just luck.

See it happens to other people and its common. Reason i couldnt Pick up the bumpers is cause i have one car and bumpers dont fit im my car and i had to get my friends truck and you sold them by then. Im 21 and a powerseller on ebay and 99% feedback so ya.
 
Another day gos by with of course no delivery.. Awaiting Paypals mandatory 2 day waiting period. Since he replied with a tracking number. Once it escalates back to the claim process Ill state again the tracking number when checked via USPS service shows tag printed but never shipped.
 
yeah usps sucks, they lost my fuel pump, but lucky for me the seller was super cool, called me and send me another fuel pump the next day...
