Smells Like gas

ok so my 240, after im driving for a while the inside of the car starts to smell like gas. i pull over and check under the hood for any kind of smells or visual traces of gas. nothing


WTF am i missing???

check your fuel line from the pump it should be over the gas tank on the passenger side of the car they tend to get old and crack

that or the big o-ring that seals the sending unit to the tank. its in the trunk/hatch under a little cover.

i did check the lines, now with that rubber seal, can i silicone it if the seal is no good???

theres also a vent from the tank to the charcole canister if the smell is comming from the engine bay

all egr was removed and that line was capped
