we did the timeing on my car yesterday, properly i mite add, it started great, but after giving a little gas it would shut off after a few seconds, then we tried again and it was fine, went to the gas station filled it up, drove fine, got back to the shop and it shut off. once again we started it, it ran for about 5 min and shut off AGAIN. then all of a sudden now i have no spark going to the coil, im lost. prior to finding out i wasnt getting sparked i thought it was the fuel pump but i guess not. some were bettween the coil and the cap im not getting spark,


help me please :(
 
so check for spark....whats not getting spark the cap or the coil...you dont just stop in the middle, something must not be giving spark.
 
the coil isnt getting spark, but a few minuets earlier it was, how does it just stop getting spark. all grounds are connected, the cap is getting spark but the coil doesnt fire now, im so frustrated,i dont get it
 
haha very funny little mikey, all im sayin is it doesnt make sense. not to me anyway, but yea ima be down at the shop later and trouble shoot some more, wish me luck nyika.
 
well its just like grandma she was alive and well 20 min ago now she is stiff as a board and has to get pushed out of the house....
