sr wont start

i have a s13 with a redtop sr20 swapped in it. one day on my way to work it unexpectedly shut off about half a mile from my house. after pulling over on the side of the road for a few minutes i managed to get it running again and drove it to work without any trouble(another 9 miles). later that day on my way home from work it died again about 1-2 miles from my work and had to have it towed back to my house.
a few days later it started running again and i was able to drive it the whole day without any issues, but the next morning on my way to school i dropped by my friends house and afterwards it would not start back up. later that day it started and i attempted to drive it home and it made it about a half mile before dieing and it hasn't started since.
so far iv tried changing the fuel pump, only to find out the fuel pump is not getting power. i traced the line around the car and didn't find any breaks in the wire. checked the fuse, and its still good and has power. when i jumped the relay for the fuel pump, the fuel pump runs but the engine wont start. i tried buying a new relay, which didn't help. i have traced the relay wire down to the ecu and there are no breaks in the wire to the ecu. i have tested that when the ignition is in the on position, the ecu sends power to the relay but it still doesn't prime. the ecu doesn't smell burnt and doesn't appear to be running incorrectly.
sorry for such a long story but now im at a dead end and am not sure what to look for next on whats wrong and i need to have this car running asap.
any help is greatly appreciated :)

well it sounds like the grounds to the main relay panel in front may have crapped out
rewire fuelpump
check the connections at the 2 plugs by where the battery is or was
brown and grey
look up frsport for wire colors
make sure they all get 12v switched power
and blu/red is coilpacks mae sure the get power too
:driving:

so i checked those plugs and they had continuity threw both of them. today i also checked all the grounds on the ecu and they all were good.
i got the car running today by jumping the egi pump relay and the egi relay. the car ran very rough and the exhaust was slightly white(sign of running lean).
afterwards i put the relays back in and attempted to start the car and it ran, but it was rough. it didnt put out any white smoke though. and other than running a little rough, it drove just like it did before.
while testing some things while the car was running, i found out if i pull the maf sensor plug, the car will stall out and will try to start but will not run until the maf plug is reconnected...
any ideas on whats causeing this? i dont want to drive it around just to have it die out on me...

just continuity doesnt mean crap
and i dont think smoke is running lean either
check ecu codes
check for voltage at the 2 plugs
if ur getting low voltage to any sensors or ecu
it will drive like poop

thanks for the help
i have come to find out the egi relay(ecu relay) is having trouble switching on. i replaced the relay with a spare and its been running fine, but occastionaly it wont start and by either unplugging and plugging back in the egi relay or jumping it allows it to start up and run fine.
im going to check the wires going into the relay and make sure that its making a proper connection.
