Hey everyone, im new by the way.. i just recently bought a 95 240sx se from kentucky on ebay and shipped it down.. it had a blown engine so i dropped in an sr20 in the last month with help from drez.. my unofficial step brother in law.. lol.. well anyway the engine is running great but i think my vacuum lines are wrong.. i got an apexi avcr boost controller in it and i raised the boost and my greddy bov doesnt go off at all.. im thinking the vacuum lines are wrong.. its a blacktop s14 sr20 by the way

That or the bov just needs to be adjusted. Which Greddy BOV (and how do you have the lines run)?

I am not familiar with the rs, but the type s has two different vacuum ports on it. The top nipple is the vac source for the bov function. If you have your vacuum source to the wrong nipple it will not vent. One issue I ran into when a friend of mine put a type s on his car. The bov had 2 springs installed in it from greddy. We tried both the stiff and soft spring separate with different preload adjustments and it functioned best with only the soft spring installed. So, if your bov is anything like the type S i would make sure that your bov vacuum source is correct and that it is a live vacuum port (you can feel vacuum at idle with your finger on the port or line). If that is correct maybe investigate about taking the upper cap off and see if there are 2 springs installed or not, if so, try running only the soft spring.
