Or if you have done it. Which hg did you go with and why?

I'm staying stock or as close to stock compression ratio

stock head gasket then if u plan to stay with the stock comp ratio. if u plan to raise boost levels significantly then go with apex-i or tomei

but i ran an apex'i, but 9.0 and more boost.

A cosworth will run you about what a true oem will, not like your putting out an extra 100+ bucks for a stock build

Apex-i all day... Ive had a Cosworth and the quality is good but Apex-i gaskets have the "fire rings" for even better sealing

Spend a few more clams for piece of mind

Mike I see where your coming from, but I've seen people make power on a cosworth and hold. Almost 300$ for a headgasket is steep when we all know a stock sr or stock frame turbo won't be an issue.

If we were talking about a cometic, well that's a different story lol

Werd. I wasnt puttin cosworth down (ive used their gasket and it was great quality). Damn i didnt realize apexi raise their prices that much... i paid about 180 for mine about a year ago so yeah... maybe go with costworth unless u can get a baller deal on apexi

no i get ya, i read you used one. there legit and ive used apexi as well. if im putting down power of course id front the money for piece of mind, but stock power with a nice cometic i wouldn't think twice about an issue occurring.

if it were 20-40 more but 10 times better yeah, whatever. but 140 is steep for something that will both do the same thing
