So i just installed my borla UEL manifold and my grimmspeed upipe with tial 38mm EWG and i have the internal gate shut closed with the bracket. I ran the line from the internal gate to the bottom of the tial wastegate. And i know i need a tune im going to get one tomorrow, but now when i start it sometimes it shuts off and when it idles it is very unsteady. I went WOT and my boost gauge was raeding all the way to 30 pounds. My air fuel ratioo use to be 14.7 and know it is reading 11.1

well right now im using the stock one but i have my boost set up to 18.5 from the cobb accessport and i was going to go get a protune but im not sure if it can make it :/

this is how the lines should be setup, sounds like you dont have pressure going to your wastegate, also where are you going to get tuned?

well right now i only took the line off the internal gate and ran it to th bottom port of the wastegate. I have nothing on the top because people said only to run a line there if it is for a boost controller

if youre using the stock 2 port EBCS you need to run the lines like in the diagram above, thats straight off cobbs website.

ok ill give it a try and shhould i find a line the same size as the other small line? or is it ok to overlap a custom line as long as it is not squeezing the small one shut.

not quite sure what youre trying to say but make sure the line is tight on the fittings, in other words so it cant leak.

I hadnt seen this sooner. You should look into getting the Grimmspeed 3port EBCS. Its like $100 but super worth it.

Are you on IWSTI? You know CrazyJap? He just moved to Boynton. He drives a OBP 07 sti.

When did you get a subie?

i didnt i let my buddy use this cuz ive been helping him with some bolt ons n stuff, youve met him, the red 09 wrx

btw can anyone tell me where the EBCS is?

and hes getting the grimmspeed 3port asap lol shits nice

its located on the passenger side strut tower, bolted to it.

thats the older models we found it on the passenger side of the intake manifold in front.

but thanks for the diagram, we re tubed it all up and she runs good, except from last night after trying it out and not having it right we blew the turbo side of the intercooler in half hahaha
