swap a single cam head for a dual cam head KA24

I hear you can get more compression this way, right? I would assume you would need a DE timing chain kit, gaskets, DE wiring harness???. OOO, and while your at it, do the intake to exhaust cam trick. I've always wanted to do this setup. LMK how it works out. Make a build thread with before and after power!!!

you forgot to put the DE block too... and DE everything else.

ok no problem im getten the single cam this week an im goin to swap the heads for a dual cam cause thats what they say u get a compression ratio of 10:1 or 11:1 so i hope every thing goes good.....
i will repost with pics an news....

sigh.... ok apperntly you didnt read what i wrote so i am going to spell it out for you....















































no you cant do this.. the only thing that you can do is take the pistion and put it in a DE motor that will up the compresion like your said from 9:1 to 10:1.... but what are you going to do about fuel mangment? cause if you try to do anything more to it the stock ecu you be able to handle it.

ok just save ur self the hassel and swap a whole ka24de in there. forget single slammer! and if wat u want is boost. then get pistons for the DE and swap them while u have the engine! and ur done .
