We will open Pre reg. 6PM on January 20th, 2007 at Ter-Tech Here it is finaly. The Qualifier event will be held at South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach Florida on Feb.25th. Gates open at 7am and stay open till dawn. go to Ter-Tech to pre reg. Drivers $100, spectators $10 children under 12 free. If you register more than one person in your paypal account e-mail me the info for the other persons.
The Drivers will be limited to 40 to get more seat time. Morning will be practise and around 2PM we will start the competition style qualifier. First dropping down to top 32 - 16 - 8 - 4 - 2 - 1 So you get the picture. After qulifier is over if there is time left we will have open practise. This will be limited to amateur drivers to give them the opportunity to get regonized. Winner will have a episode of him on OctaneTV on top of the event being Televised he will be interviewed and followed around to get footage how he is preparing for the IRL event. Each episode has minimum 3 million viewers so this will definately help the winner on his task to get sponsored on top of the fact that there will be 80 000 people at St. Petersburg IRL event. The winner is the only guaranteed driver to go to IRL, but if there is more tallented drivers that the judges feel have the skill to be at IRL we will allowe them to take part also.
Directions to the lot are from I-95 take Shoutern Bldv to west, past turnpike make right on to Fairground drive and enter at gate 12. from turnpike go west on to Shoutern drive about 1 mile and turn right to fairground drive enter at gate 12.

IF YOU ARE DRIVING A CONVERTIBLE CAR MIATA, HONDA S2000 ETC... YOU NEED TO HAVE ROLL BAR INSTALLED FOR THIS EVENT OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE. Cars will be inspected for working seat belt, loose battery, loose items, loose balljoints, etc... common sense stuff. Drivers need to wear proper shoes, clothing and HELMETS. Rollgcage is NOT MANDATORY for this event, but if you are selected to be one of the drivers to take part in the IRL event you have to get one installed before St. Pete event. Drifting outside of the track area is forbidden thru out the day and any other kind of foolish behaviour will not be tolerated.
