Tire rubbing AHHH

Ok, well with my 17s or 18s on the back of my 929. I rub along the top of the inner fender.

The car has a shitty baseball bat roll and pull, which it clears fine. But right above it, it rubs really bad.

What is there that I can do to fix this shit? I tried beating it with a 3lb sledge but it wouldnt move!

Thanks in advance,
-Mike

beat it with a 10lb sledge :bigthumbu

oh and you have to be a man about it no pussy shit or it wont work

You can try smaller profile tires on there

Are you trying to hit the inner fender up? or something else?

! Try narrower tires stretched on the wheel. Ull have a stretched tire so the sidewall will be "sloped" or at an angle and less "squared" for more clearance.
On lowered cars running wide wheels or low offsets even a quater of an inch of extra clearance is a HUGE difference TRUST ME!;)
I was tucking 195-55-15 on a 15X10 on my previous AE86....so theres no excuse for saying it cant be done lol
Stretched tires FTW
Do it! :bigthumbu

I do plan on running a stretched tire, but coil overs and better wheels need to be before new tires.

As for being a man about it, I was using all the force I have. All it was doing was pealing the 1" thick undercoating off

Yeah dude those were the wheels that I had on my car with the mega stretch and all the camber to fit them. I bought them from E'sFactory
