Tire Size options

i have 17x7 all around
i have a stock ka with lsd
what tires sizes can i put on where i can lower my car a bit more (megan Track series coil overs) but have enough tire
please let me know i was thinking about
215/45/17 (225/45/17 if i have the clearence)
and
235/45/17 (245/45/17 if i can lower and not rub with camber)
please let me know i have motegi mr-7 rims offset unknown

i use 195 front 205 rear rear works perfect for drifting front not so much i have no front grip so im gettin 205 all around. your gonna have a problem spining a 235 with a stock KA but to each there own. Plus a 235 will look like shit on a 7.

i had 195F and 205R but with that setup my car would understeer and 205F and 195R too much oversteer, so then i tried 205 all around and felt good but i would spin out easier than 195F and 205R so then i tried 195 all around with the rear at 50 psi and the car was way more controllable than 205AA

i tried 205 all around last countyline and i had alot less understeer even though i was using a bigger series tire. i normally run 195/50/15 for my fronts but i ran 205/65/15 front and 205/70/15 rear and i was able to link my first run open diff which i couldnt do with the 195s in the front. I also run crazy high pressure in the rear like 65-75 psi and 35-40 in the fronts.

yeah me too i run 65psi in the R. and 30-32psi F depending on the tire, but suspension, driving style and diff had a lot to do with it too. if you get your diff welded it would probably feel completely different.. for my setup and style 195F 205R was a big NO i was understeer king. now i have to play with it again since i have a heavier motor now imma have to adjust my suspension, and tires all over again

yeah i think i have my suspension how i want it stiff wise but i went out trying a double right turn and my tires where hopping...so i need a lower pro and try again the fronts understeered and they where 225/55 so deff lower pro for me so far

im open diff, bigger tire wall, and on cut oem springs and blown shocks and i dont have wheel hop i think your problem maybe technique more then set up.

when i had my open diff and cut springs it wasnt this bad but when i got the suspension and vlsd now the only thing that has movement are the tires when i had my stock wheels it was fine

use 205 all around.. bazooka joe tires arent cool anymore.
