What do you guys think of the Hx35??

Thinking about my turbo options
rb25det with greddy style intake plenum gt3071r tuned to 350ish at 12lbs with 740s hks injectors.. this was my old set up. Just blew my turbo and im not sure about buying a new center cartridge yet, thinking about doing a different type set up but a lil cheaper than 900 something dollars for the center cartridge for my 30r.

Here are a few of the turbos i've been looking at
Holset Hx35 capable of 350-500ishh from what i've read.
60-1 kind of laggy but same range 350-550
Sticking with the gt3071r biting my tongue and forking out 900 pesos.

what yall think??

your best bet is sticking with the 30

but the holset turbos are cheap and for their size the do have a pretty quick spool

I've been thinkin bout just sticking with it.. lol Its a really great turbo, I just don't understand why the turbo blew up, thats why I'm a lil bit sketched on getting a new center cartridge for it. I might have put the wrong size oil reducer in it? I just don't see how, the turbo has maybe 2k on it.. but thats being conservative I think it probably has less than 1k on it. I just don't know.. Its expensive.

I say go with the Holset turbo because for the price you really can't beat it and depend on which one you get it does spool fast like Dooms said. I say go HX35 and enjoy life with 900 bones you could buy up to 3 of the HX35 turbo's. The only down grade might be changing the rear housing because it is a diesel turbo. Look on youtube.com and see the cars that are running the Holset turbos they aren't no little POS cars.
